Kim Delaney, an American actor best known for her role as the character Detective Diane Russell on ABC's NYPD Blue series, for which she was awarded the Emmy Award. Also, she is known for her roles in the drama series All My Children Philly CSI: Miami as well as Army Wives. Delaney was born the sole child of her mother who was a homemaker and an executive in the United Auto Workers. Delaney lived most of her life with 4 brothers.
